Fake ZaloPay National Day 2 million dong reward that asks you to share it with friends

A page using the ZaloPay name says all participating users can get 2,000,000 Vietnamese dong for Vietnam's National Day. The banner says you can get 2,000,000 when you invite friends and family and share on your favorite social networks. The page shows a counter of remaining reward slots, a button to claim the reward, and comments from people saying the money already reached their accounts. The page was reported on August 30, 2026, at an address that is not ZaloPay's own website.

What’s different in this version

These traits set this message apart from the usual pattern.

  1. The brand used is ZaloPay, a mobile payment app in Vietnam. The page text is in Vietnamese and the reward is 2,000,000 dong.

  2. This version has no quiz. It shows a reward banner, a counter of remaining reward slots and a single claim button ("Lấy được nó").

  3. Sharing is written into the banner: get 2,000,000 when you invite friends and family and share on your favorite social networks, with Facebook, Messenger, Zalo, TikTok and Instagram icons.

  4. The occasion is Vietnam's National Day on September 2 ("Quốc Khánh 2/9").

  5. The page also carries hidden text for Co.opmart, a Vietnamese supermarket chain, that is not shown on screen.

How this scam works

    Step 1: You receive or open a page that uses a well-known brand name and says you have won a prize.

    Step 2: The page asks you to share it on social media or with multiple groups or friends through messaging apps before you can claim the prize.

  3. 3

    Step 3: The shared link may use an unrelated web address and take recipients through another prize or reward page.

    Step 4: The page may later ask for personal details, payment information, or additional actions to release the supposed prize.

✓ Do this

  • Close the page and verify promotions through the brand's official website or app, opened independently.
  • Warn anyone you may have sent the link to so they do not open it or share it further.
  • Report the message or page through the service where you received it, then delete it.
  • If you entered information or payment details, contact your bank or card provider and change any reused password through the official service.

✗ Avoid this

  • Do not share the page with groups, friends, or family to unlock a prize.
  • Do not enter personal, account, or payment information on an unfamiliar prize page.
  • Do not trust a brand logo, countdown, comments, or claims that other people already received the reward.
  • Do not use links from the page to verify the promotion; find the official brand website yourself.
