Fake S&R Membership Shopping anniversary gift card quiz that asks you to share the post

Pages using the S&R Membership Shopping name and logo say "Congratulations!" and offer a "Gift card worth €100" for answering a four-question quiz about the store's anniversary. The banner says you can win a Gold Member shopping card and tells you to share the post on social media to join. Below the quiz, a list of comments shows people saying they already won. At least three web addresses carried these pages. They were reported between August 22 and October 2, 2026, and none of them is S&R's own website.

What’s different in this version

These traits set this message apart from the usual pattern.

  1. The brand used is S&R Membership Shopping, a membership warehouse store in the Philippines. The prize on the page is in euros (€100), which does not match the country.

  2. Sharing is written into the banner: "SHARE OUR POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO JOIN! IT'S FREE & EASY!"

  3. The banner's small print gives old promo dates and a permit number ("*Promo runs from May 1-31, 2024. Per DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FTEB-190123 Series of 2024."), which makes it look like a real store promotion. The pages were reported in 2026.

  4. One of the addresses, promocvg[.]com, does not contain the brand name.

  5. The page shows the date you open it as the promotion date. The copy saved on August 22 showed 8/22/2026.

  6. The fake comments use the same names and the same words as the Jollibee version in this family.

How this scam works

    Step 1: You receive or open a page that uses a well-known brand name and says you have won a prize.

    Step 2: The page asks you to share it on social media or with multiple groups or friends through messaging apps before you can claim the prize.

    Step 3: The shared link may use an unrelated web address and take recipients through another prize or reward page.

    Step 4: The page may later ask for personal details, payment information, or additional actions to release the supposed prize.

✓ Do this

  • Close the page and verify promotions through the brand's official website or app, opened independently.
  • Warn anyone you may have sent the link to so they do not open it or share it further.
  • Report the message or page through the service where you received it, then delete it.
  • If you entered information or payment details, contact your bank or card provider and change any reused password through the official service.

✗ Avoid this

  • Do not share the page with groups, friends, or family to unlock a prize.
  • Do not enter personal, account, or payment information on an unfamiliar prize page.
  • Do not trust a brand logo, countdown, comments, or claims that other people already received the reward.
  • Do not use links from the page to verify the promotion; find the official brand website yourself.
