This is a version of Fake Online Vote Verification Scam in Impersonation / Social Media.
Fake Prague ballet school audience vote that asks you to verify your vote
Pages using the name of the First International Ballet School in Prague invite the public to take part in a "Public academic voting 2026". They show two young girls as ballet finalists, with 497 and 492 votes, and say "The gap between finalists is only 5 votes. Every vote you cast changes the finale." The "How it works" section says the second step is to "Verify your vote". The page calls itself the school's official website, but it was reported on 9 different web addresses that have nothing to do with the school, between August 20 and October 19, 2026.
What’s different in this version
These traits set this message apart from the usual pattern.
-
The contest uses the name of a ballet school in Prague and shows two young girls as the finalists.
-
The vote count is kept almost even, 497 to 492, so one more vote seems to decide the result.
-
The language menu offers 42 languages, so the same page can be sent to people in many countries.
-
The addresses have nothing to do with the school, for example kindertag[.]shop, deep-left[.]xyz and fwbooocisc2[.]sbs. balets-school[.]com and fwbooocisc2[.]sbs were registered one day or less before they were reported.
-
The "Total votes" number changes on the same page. One saved copy shows 123 in its page text and 426 in its screenshot.
-
The page's code points to a separate sign-in step for the vote check. That step was not captured, so what it asks for is not known.

How this scam works
- 1
Step 1: You get or open a link asking you to vote for a finalist in a contest run by a school, club or other organizer.
- 2
Step 2: The page shows the finalists, a running vote count and a very small gap between them, so it feels like your vote decides the result.
- 3
Step 3: When you choose a finalist, the page says your vote must be verified before it counts.
- 4
Step 4: The page's code points to a separate sign-in step for this verification. Anything you enter there would go to the people running the page, not to the school or organizer.
- 5
Step 5: The same page appears on many new web addresses, often with names that have nothing to do with the organizer.
✓ Do this
- Check the contest on the organizer's official website or social media account. Find it yourself instead of using the link.
- If a friend sent you the link, ask them by a separate call or message whether they really sent it.
- Report the link on the platform or app where you received it.
- If you already signed in, entered a phone number or typed a code on such a page, change your password on the real service and turn on two-step verification.
✗ Avoid this
- Do not sign in, enter your phone number or type a code to verify a vote.
- Do not trust a page because it shows photos of children, a school name or a close vote count.
- Do not forward the vote link to friends or groups.
