This is a version of Casino Payout Confirmation Scam.

Direct Deposit of $13,963.99 – Google‑Branded Affiliate Phishing to DuckyLuck

A phishing email claims you received a “Direct Deposit of $13,963.99.” The big dollar amount is shown as an image to dodge spam filters, and the message uses fake Google-style branding and odd text like “(No_Deposit_Required).” A hidden link sends you through a Google Cloud Storage redirect to a fake “I’m not a robot” page with the browser tab labeled “Unsubscribe.” Clicking it forwards you to DuckyLuck.ag, an offshore casino. The scammer’s goal is affiliate commission from clicks and sign-ups, not sending you money.

What’s different in this version

These traits set this message apart from the usual pattern.

  1. Uses exact bait line “Direct Deposit of $13,963.99” to trigger clicks

  2. Shows the dollar amount as an image instead of normal text

  3. Misuses Google-style branding and wording like “(No_Deposit_Required)”

  4. Hides the link and routes through storage.googleapis.com to evade filters

  5. Fake reCAPTCHA with a misleading “Unsubscribe” browser tab title

  6. Final destination is DuckyLuck.ag (casino) for affiliate payouts

How this scam works

  1. 1

Step 1: Victim receives a payout confirmation email or SMS from a fake casino or gambling site.

  2. 2

Step 2: The message promises large winnings or pending withdrawals, often with fake transaction IDs or verification seals.

  3. 3

Step 3: Victim is directed to a fraudulent site where they are asked to log in, submit banking details, or deposit additional funds to 'unlock' their payout.

  4. 4

Step 4: Scammers either steal payment information or keep demanding deposits while never releasing any winnings.
